I've explored 2D art for as long as I can remember, starting with random creature doodles and drawing every Pokemon (151 at the time) to create my own Pokedex. I've worked with pencil, ink, charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, photography, and everything else I could get my hands on. As I got older and space and money became an issue, I started to lean heavily towards digital art to save on room and materials.
You'll find I focus on keeping my digital art workflow to be similar to my traditional art workflow. This just made sense to me at the time, as I enjoy the handmade style more so anything terribly technical (a lot of my work often starts as a traditional piece that I scan to rework digitally).
I'm often changing up my style and subject matter, but one could lable these within three categories:
- Creatures
- Spiritual
- People
Granted, the differences between these blur in a lot of my work, but people like organization, so there's my attempt. Remember, I am a mess
Creatures
Creating monsters and other unique entities is probably the most fun out of all the illustrative work I do. I just adore them (or perhaps fear them at times). While it is a way to explore fantastical ideas, it often feels more personal to me than any of my other art pieces.
Spiritual
I'm not religous, but I am spiritual. The difference is that I don't believe anything in particular, but I am always looking inward and outward to gain better insight to what life, death, and love really mean. I create a lot of work that I feel reflects that, both in subject matter and vibe. Much of this work, especially the mandalas, are meditative to work on as well, which I find fitting.

People
I have a story in mind with each piece here. Sometimes its small, while other times I have an entire novel in my mind around them. This is honestly true with most of my illustrative work; its all concept art for a bigger idea I hope to get to some day. It is worth noting that sometimes its the outfit or setting that I was actually focusing on, not the character.
